Miiyu, I am Jennifer Fonseca your newly elected Health and Wellness Director for our Tribal Nation. I am from the Villages of Pagevepet, Tobe and Torjavit. My historic ancestor are Fernando/ Carlota.

I have over 20 years in Indian Health and Western medicine combined and 25 years of Non-Profit experience. I also have over 20 years of volunteer experience.
My goals are to bring a healthy balance of experience and knowledge as H/W Dir. in our tribe to build close relationships with one another and our surrounding
communities and establish close relationships in Native Country. I want to bring awareness on prominent issues for health and wellness, culture, community outreach, education, and family togetherness. As Indigenous people we draw on our cultural knowledge and communities for resources. I want to be that advocate to help our tribe and proudly represent and do the best I can for our
tribe. We need Love, comfort, and positive wellness  especially in contrasting times of today.

I will meet the challenges ahead of me with honesty and fairness and most importantly with integrity. I will guarantee my strongest dedication, arduous work, and enthusiasm as we move forward in a positive successful
direction.
